Febi is a pioneer in the aftermarket parts. From the outset, the family business has already had the mission to offer alternatives – of the same or of better quality – for original parts and this in the interest of customers worldwide.
With a range of more than 50,000 technical spare parts for passenger and commercial vehicles that is constantly being expanded.
This is therefore one of the goals of the bilstein group: to make new products available in the aftermarket as soon as possible.
New trends and developments are closely followed so that all customers worldwide are always one step ahead.

The company was founded as early as 1844. There was mainly trade in metal products, the focus soon changed to supplying parts with the emergence of the automotive sector.

The brand name “febi” that is used to this day was already registered in 1923.

The production of parts for trucks started in 1951, in the eighties a very wide product range was developed for this purpose. Products are produced in-house, supplemented with parts from partner manufacturers.
Over the years, more international branches were established, and the immense growth also led to a continuous expansion of the production area and logistics centers at the headquarters in Ennepetal, Germany.

Ferdinand Bilstein, with the support of 20 foreign branch offices worldwide, currently markets more than 62,000 repair solutions for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
Three years factory warranty on parts!

febi only offers its customers parts in first assembly quality.
To emphasize the high quality requirements for its products, febi gives a three-year manufacturer’s warranty on all its parts – thus overstepped the statutory warranty period. That’s their promise for quality. A real added value for everyone who has confidence in febi’s products.

More than just parts:

In addition to a wide range of parts, febi also offers an extensive service to the independent workshops in the field of technical information and training.

Further growth

The bilstein group is investing in the future, and the logistics capacity will be significantly expanded in the coming years. For this purpose, a plot of 200,000 square meters has been purchased in Gelsenkirchen, the first construction phase includes the construction of a new logistics center of 45,000 square meters in 2022, with the possibility to double it again.
